Immigration questions answered
Immigration Law FAQs
What immigration services do you provide?
We offer legal support for a variety of Canadian immigration needs, including visitor visa applications, spousal or family sponsorships, PR renewals, and general status support. While we do not offer full representation in court or tribunal hearings, we help clients understand the requirements of their immigration path, gather and review supporting documents, and prepare strong, legally sound applications. We also provide advice on refusals, missing information, and next steps. Our team communicates in English, Spanish, Tagalog, and Dutch and we approach each case with cultural sensitivity and legal precision.
What’s the difference between legal support and representation?
Legal support means we help prepare your application, explain legal requirements, and guide you through the process. Representation means a lawyer officially speaks on your behalf to the government or immigration board. At Blanco Law, we currently offer immigration support services only not full legal representation. This allows us to keep our services affordable, flexible, and focused on helping you do it right the first time.
Can you help with a family sponsorship application?
Yes. We assist with family sponsorship applications, including spousal sponsorships, parent and grandparent reunification, and dependent children. We help ensure eligibility requirements are met, all documents are properly prepared, and timelines are clearly explained. Our support includes reviewing forms, preparing submission packages, and answering your questions every step of the way.
Do you help with immigration issues like delays or missing documents?
Yes. If your immigration process has stalled, if you’ve received a request for more information, or if you're unsure what to do next, we can help assess the issue and recommend the right path forward. We offer practical advice based on current IRCC procedures and can assist with submission corrections, explanations, or resubmissions.
s your immigration service available remotely?
Yes, we work with immigration clients both locally and remotely. Our team is available by phone, email, and video, and we offer flexible service in English, Spanish, Tagalog, and Dutch. Whether you're already in Canada or applying from abroad, we’re ready to support your journey.
